Installing and using the CANDDi Outlook Plugin

Follow

The updated CANDDi Outlook Plugin allows users to not only track and auto-assign visitors as before, but you are now able to see both when a recipient has opened your email and clicked on any links you have included, all with the CANDDi side panel.

Installation Instructions:

(If you're a Sys-Admin then this can be added in a group policy - please contact us for more information)

As a general rule, the plugin WILL ONLY WORK for Outlook 2010 onwards. However please see our list of Operating Systems and Outlook Versions the latest plug in works with here.

1) Download the CANDDi Plugin from the following URL: canddi.to/outlook

canddi.to/outlook32 (If you're running an older machine or have a 32-bit machine download this version, if you need to check then view our FAQ on it here)

2) This is a .msi file so you'll have to click ok/accept within chrome/internet explorer

3) Once the file has downloaded, double click to run and install it

4) Restart outlook

Now in Outlook you should have the CANDDi side panel on the right of your screen. You will be prompted to sign into your account, using the same login details as you would for your CANDDi dashboard (shown right).

Once you have logged in, you will have sight over recipients who have opened your tracked emails as well as clicked on any hyperlinks you have sent in your emails (as shown).

To check that your emails are being tracked, “compose” a new email where you should see “CANDDi Enabled” at the top of your email panel. This can be toggled on and off as and when you wish to track.

*The Outlook plugin will ONLY work when sending emails to ONE recipient

Be sure to send a test email to test@canddi.email to make sure you’re on track!
